Travel Terms & Conditions

PRICE

Tour prices are based on twin sharing in Canadian Dollars and subject to change without prior notice.

RESERVATION

1.     Please contact Jolly Time Travel to make reservation. Confirmation of your booking is subject to availability.

2.     A non-refundable deposit of $300 per person is required to reserve space on the tour. The balance is due 60 days prior to departure, otherwise your booking is subject to cancellation without notice. Full payment is required for booking made within 60 days of departure.

CANCELLATION PENALTIES

(Not including the non-refundable deposit)

60 days or more before departure

40% of tour price

59 - 31 days before departure

60% of tour price

30 - 0 days before departure

100% of tour price

Insurance premiums are totally non-refundable.

If cancellation by one or more passengers alters the room requirements of the remaining passengers, those passengers still travelling must pay the revised rate.

No refund will be given for any unused services or for cancellation on the day of or after departure of the tour.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION

1.     Rooms with private facilities throughout. The right is reserved to substitute hotels for a similar category should this become necessary due to circumstances beyond our control.

2.     Children sharing room with parents and requiring extra beds will be charged as adults.

AIR TICKET

We reserve the right to change airline should this become necessary due to circumstances beyond our control.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance as protection in the event of cancellation, unforeseen medical expenses, loss and theft. Insurance rates vary by cost of services purchased and destination you are traveling to. Please consult your travel consultant for the applicable rates. Trip/tour cancellation insurance must be purchased at time of deposit.

PASSPORT & VISA

It is imperative that you travel with proper travel documentation, such as passport and visas. All travel documents must be valid for a minimum of 6 months after your return date. It is the traveler's responsibility to carry all required up-to-date documents.

BAGGAGE

All baggage is at the owner's risk throughout the tour. The baggage allowance is 2 pieces with a maximum weight of 23 kilograms (50 lbs) per piece. Some carriers within the Orient restrict the total baggage weight to 20 kilograms (44 lbs) per person. Additional charges for excess baggage are chargeable to the owner/passenger.

HEALTH

Vaccinations are not required at the present time but subject to change. Do not forget to carry minor medication or prescription drugs with you. Western style medical attention for emergency is available in Asia, although sometimes not as easily accessible as it is in home country
